Darko Fritz [*1966, Split, Croatia] is a multimedia artist, curator, researcher and graphic designer. He studied architecture at Zagreb University and completed post-graduate studies at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam [Media Art Department]. He organized several exhibitions, amongst others, ‘I am Still Alive’ [computer art from the 1960’s and recent low-tech and internet art, 2000, Zagreb], and currently preparing ‘Bit International Re:search’ exhibition [pioneering international digital art and the New / Tendencies network] at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe [2007]. Fritz lives and works in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Zagreb, Croatia.
