Where to Stay

The first two days of the conference will be held in and around Krems (Nov 23-24). The third and last day in Vienna (Nov 25). We recommend strongly to stay in Krems for day 1 and 2 at least . Via train, it takes about 1h 10 min travel time between the two cities.
Depending on your personal schedule and preferences, you can change your hotel on the third day. We will provide a bus shuttle in the morning from Krems to the Academy of Sciences in Vienna. Alternatively, you could stay at one place for the whole conference (keep train schedules in mind as the last trains Vienna<->Krems leave around 11 pm).

*** Please keep in mind that at the end of November Christmas Season has already begun with Austria’s famed “Christkindlmärkte” ( Christmas Markets) – the busiest tourist season of the year in Vienna and the enclosing Wachau region. We therefore advise you to book your rooms as early as possible! ***
