Dr. phil Christoph Klütsch studied Philosophy, Art History and German Literature in Freiburg, Hamburg, and Heidelberg (Germany). From 1999-2002 he worked as an author, editor, and concepter for multimedia exhibitions for Inter/Aktion in Munich. He is the author of three multimedia CD-ROM’s on the history of: computers, photography and money (Springer Heidelberg). Having received his PhD in 2006 at the University Bremen, Germany, his dissertation entitled “Computer Graphic – Ästhetische Experimente zwischen zwei Kulturen” will be published by SpringerWienNewYork in 2007. From 2004-2006 he worked as a research associate and scientific coordinator for an interdisciplinary and international research project on Visual Hegemonies at the International University Bremen, Germany. He is currently Professor of New Media at the Department of Art History at Savannah College of Art and Design.
